Chuck Lager Legendary Kitchen is seeking skilled and passionate Prep and Line Cooks to join our kitchen team! You'll be a crucial part of our kitchen, responsible for both the foundational prep work and the execution of our menu items during service.

🍽️ About the Role

As a Prep/Line Cook, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of ingredients and the timely, consistent execution of our dishes on the line. These roles require accuracyspeed, and a strong commitment to food safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Prep Cook Duties:

  • Follow daily prep lists accurately, ensuring all ingredients are ready for service.
  • Perform foundational food preparation tasks including washing, chopping, cutting, peeling, and portioning vegetables, meats, and seafood.
  • Prepare basic components like sauces, stocks, and dressings following established recipes.
  • Label, date, and properly store all prepped food items.
  • Assist with inventory rotation and stocking of all kitchen areas.

Line Cook Duties:

  • Set up and stock a designated station (e.g., grill, sauté, fryer) with all necessary tools and ingredients before service.
  • Cook menu items precisely to the Chef’s specifications and quality standards during service.
  • Ensure all food is cooked and presented with consistency and speed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with other kitchen staff to coordinate dish timing.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your station throughout and after the shift.

General Kitchen Duties:

  • Adhere strictly to all local and company sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or food quality issues to the management immediately.
